Long to Short

Gabi is a new client. She had long, thick, wavy hair and she wasn't happy with her last haircut. Before I even pick up the shears I have a nice consultation with a new client. If they're wanting something completely new and different I want to make sure they've thought it through and it's not just a reactionary haircut. Gabby had been thinking about something new for a while so I could tell she was ready for something fun. She showed me a few pictures of pixie haircuts but didn't want anything too short. Short comes in many different lengths so it's good to know what that means to a client. Almost immediately after I started the haircut she said her cheeks hurt because she couldn't stop grinning. The cut turned out amazing for her features and hair type. And what's more important is that she LOVED it.
